The University of Western Australia (UWA) is located on the banks of the Swan River in Perth, only 3 miles from the Central Business District (CBD) and about 4 miles from the Indian Ocean. The self-contained UWA campus is widely renowned for the beauty of its traditional architecture and lush gardens. With cafés, libraries, sporting facilities, an art gallery, museums and a range of shops, UWA feels like a small town with a electric social atmosphere.

UWA is very accessible to public transportation and allows easy access to local beaches, the Perth city center and Kings Park. The port city of Fremantle is just 10 minutes by car and 25 minutes by public transport.

Eligibility

Students must have sophomore standing at a four-year degree-granting institution at the time of enrollment at the University of Western Australia, although students attending a two-year degree-granting institution may be admitted on a case-by-case basis. The University of Western Australia also requires that applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0, although students with a 2.7-3.0 are encouraged to apply and may be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
