The University of Western Australia (UWA) is located on the banks of the Swan River in Perth, only 3 miles from the Central Business District (CBD) and about 4 miles from the Indian Ocean. The self-contained UWA campus is widely renowned for the beauty of its traditional architecture and lush gardens. With cafés, libraries, sporting facilities, an art gallery, museums and a range of shops, UWA feels like a small town with a electric social atmosphere. UWA is very accessible to public transportation and allows easy access to local beaches, the Perth city center and Kings Park. EligibilityStudents must have sophomore standing at a four-year degree-granting institution at the time of enrollment at the University of Western Australia, although students attending a two-year degree-granting institution may be admitted on a case-by-case basis. The University of Western Australia also requires that applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0, although students with a 2.7-3.0 are encouraged to apply and may be admitted on a case-by-case basis. |
