The University of Sydney is located in the heart of one of the world’s most renowned cities – Sydney, Australia. The university is surrounded by many unique inner-city neighborhoods, including Glebe, Newtown and Darlington, which are known for their “offbeat” and artistic culture and café scenes. With easy access to one of the world’s most famous harbors, multiple beaches, beautiful botanical gardens, parks, museums and theatres, students find the transition of attending the University of Sydney both easy and welcoming.

The Camperdown/Darlington Campus is positioned on the edge of Sydney’s Central Business District. This sprawling campus features beautifully landscaped grounds, sports ovals and centers, museums, galleries, two major complexes devoted to student recreation and services, the famous Quadrangle and many other beautiful modern and historic buildings. Modeled after Oxford University, the University of Sydney campus boasts beautiful stone buildings on grassy courtyards with great campus appeal for study-abroad students. With its combination of sandstone colonial buildings and modern architecture adjacent to leafy Victoria Park, the University of Sydney offers one of the most vibrant and historic settings available to students.
