Student Support ServicesLocal and Regional Resident DirectorsThroughout the program, Study Australia's Resident Directors will provide on-going support services via informal house meetings, weekend excursions and by generally making themselves available to assist students with other academic, social or cultural issues. Internship and Employment LeadsLooking for an internship or employment tip while overseas? Since our overseas staff are local residents we can provide special insight into available internship and work opportunities. International Student Health InsuranceStudy Australia participants receive a basic health insurance policy, which is mandatory for studying in Australia or New Zealand. More policy details are provided upon acceptance into the Study Australia program. Host Family IntroductionsStudy Australia students have the option of participating in our Host Family program. This is a great way for students to meet and become friends with an Australian or Kiwi family. In addition to the support and advice offered by Study Australia staff, the host families can be another resource for questions and advice. Student Union and Guild FeesYour program fee includes all university fees for student union or guild membership, which provides access to university owned athletic (e.g. swimming pool, weight room, basketball court), academic (e.g. library, computer labs) and social facilities (e.g. student pub, concerts). |
