Pre-Departure ServicesPersonal Service/AdvisingStudy Australia offers students and parents a personal advisor who answers phone calls and emails on a daily basis. Our staff is available to answer any and all types of questions from financial aid planning, personal banking, travel arrangement assistance, to information on special social, civic, or athletic activities. In addition, students have 24/7 access to the Virtual Application Manager (VAM) system where they can update personal information, complete forms online, and even submit questions to our support center. Finally, our staff offers campus visits to many colleges and universities where we personally address any questions or concerns that students might have. Student Visa Preparation AssistanceOur knowledgeable staff will personally assist you with the complex student visa process from start to finish to insure you are eligible to travel into Australia or New Zealand without incident. Financial Aid Transfer PlanningMost financial aid you are currently receiving is applicable toward study abroad. Generally, you can transfer federal financial aid, such as Pell Grants and Stafford Loans, that do not need to be repaid until after graduation. Informative Pre-Departure PacketsStudy Australia provides all participants with three comprehensive pre-departure guides that include remaining information needed to make a smooth transition upon arrival. Topics include: Australian history and overview, living in Australia, currency and bank accounts, climate and travel tips and information on the city and state where the student will be residing. We also provide campus maps and a city map so students can see exactly where they are living. |
