Internship Program Overview

The Study Australia Internship Abroad Program collaborates with top industry leaders in the country and provides students with an all-inclusive internship experience! Take advantage of our connections in Australia, earn credit from your home university, meet new friends and create excellent business contacts during your summer or semester internship abroad!
The Study Australia Internship Program offers a range of study abroad internship placements for students and recent graduates interested in gaining valuable work experience in Australia. Students and recent graduates will gain access to Australia's leading organizations and receive training compatible with their employment and/or educational history.
• Full-time internships for a semester or during the summer in the field of your choice
• Optional academic credit obtainable through your U.S. university

Locations
Most internship placements are located in Sydney, but the student can also seek placement in Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane based on internship availability in those locations.
Eligibility
Because our internships do not involve routine office jobs, the prospective intern is expected to have relevant coursework or employment history in his or her area of interest.
Duration
The program has set departure dates and duration lengths, with students being able to participate during the summer or over a semester. Please see “Programs and Dates” for additional information.
Placement
Internships are custom-created in order to provide the student with the most valuable experience during his or her time abroad. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply at least 4-5 months before the start of their program.
