Submit your application via our Virtual Application Manager (VAM)
Submit Study Australia Internship Application along with supplemental forms and the non-refundable application fee of USD $100 and refundable deposit of USD$300 (via credit card or check made payable to Study Australia).
Upon acceptance into the program, Study Australia will provide interns with a Predeparture Guide and specific information on many topics including:
- Internship placement protocol and options
- Credit transfer procedures (if applicable)
- Visa (immigration) procedures and applications
- Housing and travel options
Other Items in Enrollment Process: (order will vary for each intern based on a variety of factors including internship type, date application submitted, housing preferences and month of start date).
- Student signs Statement of Intent - this is sent to intern once a placement has been agreed upon by Study Australia, the intern and their academic advisor (if necessary).
- Credit transfer finalized with academic advisor
- Intern submits visa application to Australian Embassy (forms, documentation and guidance provided by Study Australia).
- Arrange Personal Liability Insurance (instructions included)
- Final payment due 6 - 12 weeks prior to departure
- Pre-departure and housing information sent to student 2-4 weeks before intended start date
- Travel plans finalized (includes flight and other independent travel options)

Eligibility
All applicants are expected to have an appropriate academic background related to the internship placement duties. The amount of required coursework will vary for each placement. Students who have completed at least two years of university work and have grade point averages above 2.5 will be eligible for most internships. Other students are encouraged to apply as many other non-academic factors are taken into consideration.
